Carter Love, Photographer
Carter Love, self trained photographer, began his quest into the world of photography beginning with medium format and 35 mm film cameras. Now, Carter exclusively creates images using digital technology. Carter's utilization of today's digital cameras and darkroom processes results in finished photographs that look and feel like traditional photographs. Carter endeavors to capture scenes that are intriguing and representative of the wonderful world surrounding us. A fellow photographer once told Carter, "When you create a photograph, you are painting with light." At every stage of the creative process, Carter's primary focus is to paint with light, using both in camera and digital darkroom techniques.
Carter Love was born in El Paso, Texas and grew up in northern California. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a BS in Accounting.
Carter resides in Fort Worth, Texas. When he is not in the digital darkroom, he can be seen motorcycling throughout North America, with camera of course.
